We recently got a digital-cable-ready TV (Samsung Smart TV), and nobody seems to list the channels available in Clear QAM on FIOS, so I told the TV to auto-program and away we went. Why’s this interesting? Maybe you have a guest room or space in the basement or something - not occupied by humans enough to warrant a CableCard or STB… but you still want the TV to do more than a Roku or Apple TV.

After deleting the encrypted channels it looks like there are 171 channels available via ClearQAM. A lot of them seem to be duplicates or blank. Here is a list of the ones which had channel IDs and which actually gave me a picture:

At this point I lost interest. There’s more including some local access stuff.

Anyway, plenty of possibly-interesting OTA-ish stuff available on ClearQAM on FIOS.
